I really wasn't expecting much..just a typical "cattleman-roadhouse-Texas, etc" steak house. While the decor was exactly what I expected...the food was a very pleasant surprise. We came on Wednesday and got the daily special of the larger sirloin and 2 sides. The rolls were fresh and soft. I wasn't the biggest fan of the Cactus Blossom but everyone else at the table enjoyed it. The sirloin was amazing, tender and full of flavor...probably the best one I had and beat Outback by a mile. I will say it was more of a medium well than medium but I was asked by our server (Amanda, who was GREAT!!) if it was cooked to our liking so I felt like I could have easily sent it back. The green beans were a nice dark green and tasted great (I'm sure the bacon it is cooked with really helped!) My husband thought the chopped steak was also the best he ever had. My niece had the salmon and thought it was very good. Our total was MUCH less than we have paid at similar places. We will definitely be going back.

Went for the first time last night. Had filet medallions. They were ok.. Rice bed was pretty good and the candied sweet potato was bomb. Probably the best thing of the whole meal honestly. Steer clear from the Margaritas though server informed us that they are 18oz with 1oz of liquor... "we are a restaurant with a bar not a bar with a restaurant!" as she informed us. Which we were grateful for since my hubby would have 100% ordered one and not been happy about it! I however did order a glass of wine, 2 glasses.. & 8.49 each! I have no problem paying but sheesh do they think they are E&E Stakeout? I don't even think They charge that high a price for their wine by the glass. Overall, ok experience. Server could have definitely been more attentive. Another server brought our check n box. As well as my second glass of wine, which sat on the bar for 5 minutes as she walked past it numerous times. Finally the bartender noticed I was watching and brought it over himself (bravo) not sure if we'll be back soon but my hub enjoyed his filet so most likely eventually but we most certainly won't be drinking!

Made our first visit to Texas Roadhouse last Sunday evening. We were promptly seated in the busy dining room. Our server, Kerby, was AWESOME. Very polite and attentive, with lots of "yes ma'ams." My husband and I quickly decided Kerby was raised a good southern boy, and we were right--he's from Georgia! We ordered two appetizers--jalapeno poppers and fried pickles. The poppers were tasty, but we found the fried pickles to be excessively salty. We probably won't order these again. Our steaks were great. My husband's ribeye was well seasoned and cooked to a perfect medium rare. My sirloin was equally well prepared. One of our side items was forgotten, but was quickly delivered. We will definitely return for another meal at the Texas Roadhouse. We will also be requesting that Kerby be our server. He made a good dining experience great.

Way too busy during dinner hours and I don't see why. The food is not worthy of the wait, the margarita wasn't good either and way way too much salt on everything including the steak. Very chain restaurant feel to the menu and food quality. Also it's very loud here with louder than average music just as a heads up. The upsides are overall they seem to put customer service at a high level and this shows in the way you are greeted and treated. I like that they have all booths for tables. Also, they all dance every 15 minutes or so which keeps the kids entertained. I guess the draw is it's something new and the gimmick of a place to show off to your friends hasn't worn off yet until more new restaurants open in Seminole. I don't think it's any better than Cody's where you get similar atmosphere and a decent steak for the same price and Cody's includes a salad with the dinner not as a side or extra like at Texas loud house.

I have been going to this establishment since the day it opened. I go almost every Sunday afternoon and sit at the bar, as not to take up a table for just one person. I have always been treated in a fair manner and food was usually good (except for one time) , I got sick after a undercooked sirloin steak. But did not let that stop me from returning. Well, I made my last trip there today after my whole dining experience was ruined. After 2 beers with an appetizer, then a cup of chili, I ordered a ribeye with a baked potato and salad. I asked specifically, as usual, for the salad first. I knew something bad was going to happen when the salad never showed for long period of time. Oh yes, it showed up and about 1 minute later so did the steak. A sure way to upset the whole meal. I mentioned my dissatisfaction to the bar person and to the manager when she came around asking how things were. I was left with, OH WELL, sorry...paid my $36.00 bill, left never to return. Compensation management, Compensation... Although I'm not one to except anything free, it would have been nice to be offered. And I would probably feel better about the unfortunate experience, and return. . .. Now you're out a faithful Sunday customer. Although it may not matter to this unconcerned management.

Why all the bad reviews folks? I give this steakhouse a 5 star! The steak was cooked to perfection and the service was great. I had a wonderful dining experience. Once you pass the hostess, there's a display of steak and what each order would look like. That's a pretty cool concept I'll say. They also have their own steak sauce. How awesome is that? All you can eat peanuts and throw them on the floor if you like. Great steak with a laid back chill atmosphere. I love it! I will definitely be back soon.

I was Very disappointed with the service. First time ordered the ribs and they were way over cooked. Gave it another try, and ordered boneless buffalo chicken wings mild but got hot instead. When I told the waitress that I couldn't eat the chicken, she said "take the chicken home, pour some butter and milk on it and reheat it and that should take care of the problem" I will not be going there anytime soon. Management needs to retrain their staff!

The food here is good but I feel like if you've been to one Texas Roadhouse you've been to all. The difference here is the employees. The servers are great here and they make you feel welcome. They're very tentative and they're willing to work with you if you're not happy with your dish.

Thought we'd try someplace new for dinner tonight. We've been to similar "roadhouse" restaurants and not to be disappointed, this place was just as loud and had a floor covering of peanut shells. On the plus side, our meals were cheap ($10-11 each - neither of us ordered steak) and portions are large so we have a second meal going home with us. They also serve warm rolls so you're already full before your dinner arrived. Service was good and fast but at 6pm on a Friday night there was a 30-45 minute wait. And not enough waiting area seating, inside or out. And outside seating was taken over by the smokers. I'll go elsewhere for my steak but for a cheap meal (under $30 before tip, no alcohol) it works. My biggest complaint is the noise. It was deafening. My husband and I could barely hold a conversation.

First time there and they have lots to improve upon. Out of Corona at 6pm on Sunday. Service was fair at best. Plates were cold, ordered med rare and steak was served med well. Bus people hovered over tables like vultures. Dancing was a total disruption to the flow of service. Won't be going back!

I literally just finished the chicken and ribs combo and oh my was it good!! Crazy enough typically I loathe the thought of eating light meat chicken but was hooked on theirs after bite 1. The staff was exceptional. My only complaint was the dancing right in front of my face while trying to eat was slightly unnerving. A+ from me overall. I will be back on a regular basis

Family of 11 went to celebrate a birthday. Met Emil, very nice, runs a great staff. Our service was very nice. The "saddle up" was fun. Everyone enjoyed their food and the sangria was fantastic! The reason for my low rating is this: soy bean oil used in everything! Oil and vinegar salad dressing? Have you ever heard of using soy bean oil??? How about the Caesar Salad? Yep, made with soybean oil! Have they never heard of people being allergic to soy??? It greatly reduced the choices on the menu for me, thus it greatly reduced my enjoyment of dining at this restaurant. Still enjoyed the occasion, but with a round trip of 47 miles, I will definitely steer the group to a better quality restaurant.

Not even in the top 3 steak joints in St Pete. Didn't get appetizer it was forgotten and out of prime rib at 7pm. Salty mushrooms and the other sides were mediocre at best. Severs dance.....yay a show. Get my apps.

If there was a no star that's what I would have rate this place. I ordered a porterhouse, medium. The steak came to me very well done and dry. Waiter took it back and I wanted 25 mins for another steak, when it came out in was cold. She took insisted on taking back again to warm it up, of course it came back hot on the outside and cold on the inside. At which point I decided Maybe the cook was having a bad day and decided to not have my meal here ever again. I did feel bad for the waiter and tip her 15 bucks for trying, however, I will never eat here again.

Emil, thank you for having the faith and foresight to place Texas Roadhouse in our area. We have been three times since it opened a week ago. We have been at different times of the day and the service has always been the same...friendly, welcoming, enthusiastic and very efficient!! If there is a problem, it gets taken care of quickly. We have had something different each time and they all have been very good. The hot rolls are taken with the hostess when you are seated. They are yummy!! The early bird specials are not small portions. The amount of BBQ pork that my wife had tonight was a very generous helping. It was the first week and we have had a great bunch of people who have served us. Thanks to all the staff who came from the other stores to help out. Thanks to Gabby, Demi, Ashley, Cody, John(computer) for your hard work and the smiles throughout. The staff is a combination of ages and experience levels. Even the new ones are on top of things. Many thanks, I am sure, go to Amanda for the "extra loving" that she gives to the new servers. Lara, thank you soooooooo much for the welcome you gave us and the conversation when you seated my wife and I. James, thank you for keeping on top of that order and making sure it got done right. Kerby, thanks for the service tonight, you scored with the lemons!! Tina, you are AMAZING! Cat, sorry you had to leave the party. Rita, where were you tonight? We highly recommend Texas Roadhouse in St Pete!! Emil and the gang, thank you all for blessing us!!!

I had an amazing time tonight at the Texas Roadhouse. My salmon was excellent - no fishy taste or smell! The rice pilaf outstanding, the fresh vegetables were amazing. I have never had such perfectly cooked carrots and broccoli. Michelle was our server - we didn't lack for anything. She checked back often and her personality matched the lively atmosphere of the establishment. I love the dancing and the peanut bucket. An extra bucket for the shells was a nice touch.

We went for first time last night. Arrived about 4:30 and sat at the bar, which was empty. However, within a half hour it was packed! As was the entire restaurant with a lot of people waiting outside! The staff is terrific! Our bartenders, Rob and Alexis, were the best! Great service and so happy and friendly! I had the Boneless Buffalo wings which were fantastic! My husband had a cheeseburger and loved it! We will definitely be back!!

It's great to finally have a Texas Roadhouse in town. The rolls are great and I also always get either the onion blossom or fried pickles. The best time to go is between 4 & 6 to get the early specials like a 6oz steak with two sides for $9. The brownie dessert is also great.
